Gov-Easy Customer Service Portal
The Building Department is pleased to announce the Gov-Easy Customer Service Portal will be live effective immediately. Please review the how-to tutorials listed below. Online payments are currently not accepted. Updates will be provided as they become available.
Building Department Responsibilities
Permit Application Submittal Procedures
All permit applications must be submitted through the Gov-Easy Portal. Alternatively, applicants may submit an electronic link via email or provide a USB drive containing all required documents to Village Hall. The full Permit Submittal Procedures can be found by following the link.
Rush Plan Review Service
The Building Department is pleased to announce a new Rush Plan Review Service available for select trades. This expedited option reduces the standard review cycle from five business days to three business days. View the Schedule of Rush Plan Review Service Fees.

Permitted Construction Hours
The Department is responsible for permit issuance and Florida Building Code-related plan review and inspections, which safeguard the public’s health, safety, and general welfare.
Monday through Friday
Saturday and Sunday
Construction Work During Holidays
Construction work will be allowed on the following holidays.
Inspections
You may schedule, cancel, or find the status of an inspection through the Gov-Easy portal,
or by calling (305) 865-4121.
Inspections requested before 3 p.m., Monday through Friday excluding holidays, will be scheduled for the next business day. Inspections scheduled after 3 p.m. will be scheduled for the second business day.
Inspections cannot be requested more than 24 hours in advance.
Cancellation of an inspection must be done prior to 8 a.m. for an inspection that is scheduled for later that day.
