Collection Services

This page provides information regarding residential trash and recycling services, including accepted materials and service guidelines.

Service information will be updated as it becomes available.

Holiday Pick-up Schedule

The collection services for Solid Waste, Bulk Waste, and Recycling from all Residents are performed as scheduled, except for Christmas Day.

Recycling

Every Thursday

Each household is provided with one or more standard 96-gallon waste carts. Your wheeled cart is designed to hold all of your garbage.

Accepted Items

  • All kitchen and table food waste, animal, vegetative, and organic waste associated with food preparation and handling.

Not Permitted

  • Recyclables
  • Bulk waste
  • Contractor-generated waste
  • Hazardous materials

Yard Trash

Vegetative matter from landscaping maintenance such as trimmings, grass clippings, palm fronds, and small branches (max 4 ft length, 4 in diameter). Must be bundled or bagged.

No bundle, bag, or container may exceed 50 pounds. Maximum six items per collection.

Recycling Collection

Accepted Items

  • Paper products (newspaper, office paper, magazines, boxes)
  • Cardboard
  • Narrow-neck plastic containers
  • Aseptic containers (juice/milk cartons)
  • Glass bottles and jars
  • Aluminum and steel containers

Not Permitted

  • Plastic bags
  • Polystyrene products
  • Hazardous chemicals
  • Construction debris
  • Batteries and electronics
  • Medical waste

Recycling Tips

  • Ensure materials fit inside cart with lid closed
  • Do not use plastic bags
  • Do not place items outside the cart
  • Avoid hazardous or construction materials
  • Leave carts when moving residences

Hazardous Waste

Household items such as paints, solvents, pesticides, and pool chemicals can be hazardous if disposed improperly and may contaminate water sources.
