Election Information

Village election information is provided in accordance with law.

Indian Creek Village General Election is held on even-numbered years on the third Friday of February and shall be held every four years. The election of the Mayor shall be done every two years at the first regularly scheduled council meeting after each Village election.

Voters Qualifications

To vote in a Village election, an individual must be a United States citizen, a permanent resident of the State of Florida and Miami-Dade County, and domiciled within Indian Creek Village. Voters must be at least eighteen years of age on or before the date of the election.

Voter Registration

All voters must be registered with Miami-Dade County. Registration applications may be submitted online or mailed to the Supervisor of Elections.

 

Registration must be completed at least 30 days prior to an election. Mailed applications should be sent at least four days in advance to ensure timely processing.

Vote-by-Mail

Registered voters may request a Vote-by-Mail ballot through Miami-Dade County. Requests must be received no later than 5:00 PM on the 10th day before Election Day.

 

Completed ballots must be returned by 7:00 PM on Election Day. Vote-by-Mail requests expire after each General Election and must be renewed.
